A straight forward, no-nonsense, classic casse-croute that serves simple items with simple classic recipes and knocks every one of them out of the park. Nothing is overdone or complicated. It is just right. A perfectly cooked and steamed Hot Dog, a signature Hamburger with incredible condiment and topping balance and a classic, greasy Poutine with homemade style fries and the emblematic, quintessential sauce. They all have their own unique taste, you always know Lafleur food when you're eating it. It never waivers in quality. It is always consistently amazing. Everytime. They make something very basic incredibly special.

Father passed away in September. He lived in Montreal. Comfort food you say? Drown your sorrows away? Nothing on this planet can top the two "vapeur" or steamed hot dog "all dressed" with slaw, onions, relish and mustard. MUST upgrade the fries to Poutine (cheese curds and brown gravy on the fries). Cried while wolfing this mean down as I felt my arteries clogging, but I did feel better. Thanks for being there Lafleur (and they're open until 1am). The entire tray in the photo doesn't cost a whole lot either. At that point, I really didn't care. Can't have Coke either. Must be Pepsi.

Cole slaw adds a nice crisp freshness to their hot dogs. Fresh squishy cheese curds in their poutine which melts just enough from the tasty sauce. Fresh potatoes used for their fries which but are not crispy enough for my liking.

Typical Montreal grub. A couple of steamies & fries always hits the spot during a bike ride. Excellent old school greasy fries! Can't go wrong! Thank you for quick service!
